We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team at Bistro Panorama, Scandic Sortland. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and present high-quality dishes. Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards. Requirements: Relevant kitchen/chef experience. Our hotel’s unique harbourside location right in the heart of Sortland offers panoramic views of the Sortland ocean and scenic Vesterålen mountains, with the majestic Møysalen mountain at the helm. Scandic Sortland has a modern decor with 128 rooms. On our ground floor, you’ll find our reception, lobby, meeting rooms, restaurant and a monumental glass facade with views of Vesterålen. Our hotel has 3 meeting rooms and a large conference hall that can be divided into 3 smaller rooms. The Sortland Culture Factory is our next-door neighbour and here you’ll find a cinema, library, culture centre and more. Sortland is located in the middle of Vesterålen and is a geographical and communicational hub for the region. Vesterålen offers fantastic nature experiences all year around. Here you'll enjoy beautiful nature with majestic mountains and fjords, white sandy beaches and the ocean close by. If you enjoy culture, sports, wellness, speed and excitement, then Sortland is the perfect starting point. With unique sea and mountain views, our hotel is perfect for active and adventurous guests. The closest airport is Stokmarknes Airport, about 20 minutes from the centre, and Harstad-Narvik Airport in Evenes is about 1 hour 45 minutes away by car. If you arrive by car, we have plenty of parking spaces right outside our hotel. Our central location makes our hotel the obvious choice.
