Marketing Manager
Our client is an American public multinational corporation that develops, manufactures, licenses, and supports a wide range of products and services predominantly related to computing through its various product divisions.
Its most profitable products have come to dominate the commercial office suite market, and the company’s operating system, which has achieved near ubiquity in the desktop computer market. The company has also diversified in recent years into the video game industry as well as into the consumer electronics and digital services market. More recently the company has become one of the major players in the cloud market, and their new state-of-the art AI-solution will revolutionize how we work.
VZU is a recruitment agency that works exclusively with B2B companies in the ICT industry. We focus on the Nordic market, and we are looking for motivated and skilled candidates that fit the innovative and can-do environment of our customers. We are now looking for an Administrative Assistant for our customer.
The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating our customers’ Commercial Strategy into a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. The team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling our customer to deliver business impact at scale.
Candidates daily tasks
- Integrated Marketing Planning: You will define the local solution area marketing plan that leverages regional strategy, execution frameworks and marketing technology to drive business priorities via local marketing engines (e.g., digital, social, email, events). You align marketing tactics to marketing objectives (e.g., acquisition, nurture, re-engagement) focused on outcomes and relevant metrics.
- Integrated Marketing Execution: You will develop, land and optimize the solution area marketing plan based on insights from customer targeting, segmentation tools and various metrics and local-market knowledge, continually updating and improving customer experiences (e.g., optimizing segments, spend, performance, improving digital channels). You ensure all plans adhere to critical company policies such as privacy, accessibility, compliance and brand.
- Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Management: You embrace a data-driven marketing culture and will use data-driven insights leveraging available tools and dashboards to optimize marketing strategy and delivery. You evangelise the marketing impact in your OU/Subs and provide recommendations back to the EMEA CSA team and Centre of Excellence teams for improvement. You inspire sellers and leaders to act on marketing signals and marketing data to build and progress pipeline. You proactively develop strategic responses based on data to specific market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and/or trends.
- Budget Management –You are accountable for the solution area integrated marketing budget for your OU/Subs, ensuring adherence to budget principles, quarterly seasonality spend guidelines and compliance standards.
Job qualifications:
- Experience in administrative assistant work in a fast-paced environment required.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Excellent organizational and anticipatory skills. Ability to make independent decisions and to juggle multiple projects at once with compressed lead time, in addition to dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects along with analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communicator.
- Positive, can-do attitude, eager and able to work effectively under pressure with time constraints and in relatively ambiguous and complex situations, as well as the ability to adjust direction in response to changing work situations, while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside the groups with varying levels of collaborators, and accommodate the working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals and groups.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience

The candidates we are looking for are fluent in English and Norwegian and you have a Norwegian work visa already in place to be taken into consideration. The Marketing Manager will be based at our clients’ office in Oslo. This is a one-year maternity leave starting from today's date.
