As Senior People Operations Specialist, you will contribute to maintaining effective and service-oriented HR operations throughout our organisation. You’ll be the go-to expert for HR administration, local employment act, employee life-cycle processes, compliance, and HR system improvements. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality HR support while also identifying opportunities to optimize and standardize the way we work.
This role is for you with solid HR experience, and who understand the complexities of HR processes in a matrix organization and are comfortable working in a structured, yet evolving environment with many stakeholders.
The Senior People Operations Specialist will be working across the Nordics while having a specific responsibility for Norway. Additionally, the Senior People Operations Specialist will have one or more responsibilities within the People & Culture Operations agenda (e.g., process and tools, communication, global mobility, background checks, Op. Risk, GDPR, onboarding, offboarding, analysis and reporting) based on your competence and company need.
In this role you’ll combine effective HR administration with a service-minded approach towards colleagues, employees and leaders.
Key accountabilities- Provide expert day-to-day HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Workday management of all employee recordings, incl. organizational structure design and position creation.
- Act as coordinator between local IT team and Santander Grupo for accurate data flow and recording between HR and IT systems.
- Support with reporting and analytics tasks.
- Create and maintain guides, policies and handbooks, and act as an advisor on HR policies and practices.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, company policies, and collective and local agreements.
- Lead and coordination responsibility within the People Operations deliverables for your specific scope.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and/or improve HR processes and systems and ensure a smooth transition from HR projects to effective operation.
- Experience from working with employment law across the Nordics.
- Proven min. 5 years experience as HR/People Operations Specialist, HR Generalist and/or HRBP.
- Experience in HR Systems (Workday), technologies and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of HR governance, labour law and regulations for Norway.
- Experience from international / multicultural working environment.
- Project experience from working lean/ process improvement/ tool implementation/ project management.
- Reliable, agile and a team player.
- Organized and structured, know how to prioritize what is important.
- Self-driven and able to commit to deadlines.
- Enjoy high tempo and see changes as opportunity to improvements.
- Tech-savvy and understand the value of details.
- Able to lift a challenge into common solution in collaboration within the team.

The position is located at Lysaker (Oslo), reports to Head of HR Operations and is fulltime.
