As an Onsite Service Engineer at Helse Bergen, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our Proton Therapy System - the cutting-edge equipment used to precisely target tumors while protecting healthy tissue.

This role operates on a rotating shift schedule, alternating on a weekly basis between day shift: 06:00 - 14:00 and evening shift: 14:00 - 22:00.

The Role:

• Perform hands-on maintenance on proton therapy equipment and supporting systems.

• Troubleshoot issues and keep the system fully functional during clinical hours.

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and support regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills and Expertise:

• Technical education (Bachelors Degree or Technical Diploma).

• Mechanical skills and understanding of electronic or electromechanical systems are essential.

• Fluent English (written and spoken); Scandinavian language skills are a plus.

• Willingness to work shift working hours on a weekly consecutive basis.
