Head Chef – Scandic Oslo Airport

Do you want to lead a kitchen where teamwork, quality, and creativity are at the heart of everything we do?

Scandic Oslo Airport is looking for a new Head Chef to join our team and take charge of the kitchen.

As our Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in creating great food experiences for our guests, while leading a strong team of 4 Sous Chefs and 11 chefs. You’ll work closely with our Restaurant Managers and Head Waiters in a collaborative organization, inside one of Norway's biggest conference hotels.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and inspire your team in the kitchen
• Make sure Scandic’s food concepts are followed and developed
• Manage kitchen economy with focus on costs and quality
• Take responsibility for food safety, quality, and hygiene
• Be part of recruiting and developing new kitchen talents
• Balance admin work (around 70%) with being hands-on in the kitchen when needed

Who we’re looking for

• An experienced Head Chef with a culinary certificate (fagbrev)
• A leader who leads by example and cares about the team
• Someone structured, flexible, and quality-driven
• Comfortable with both admin and operational tasks
• Fluent in English (Norwegian skills are a big plus)
