Purchase to Pay \& Order to Cash Accountant

Are you passionate about end-to-end finance processes and financial reporting?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Group Accountant with strong expertise in Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes. In this role, you will take ownership of purchase to pay and order to cash processes, ensuring high-quality financial data and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll play a critical role in optimizing transactional finance workflows, improving data integrity, and supporting accurate, timely reporting across a global organization.

To succeed in this role, you must be highly independent and self-driven --- capable of managing responsibilities proactively, solving problems independantly, and making judgments in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:

• Coding and verifying invoice details in accordance with accounting principles
• Handling payment processes and remittances for incoming invoices and customer payments
• Ongoing bookkeeping related to supplier and customer transactions
• Contributing to monthly and annual financial closings related to accounts payable and receivables
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting principles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and automation initiatives.
• Participate in digitalization and process optimization projects.
• Provide guidance and training in financial systems and digital tools.

Skills:

• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and suggest possible improvements
• Strong numerical and accounting skills
• Analytical mindset and experience with reconciliations and sorting out deviations on GL versus sub-ledger level
• Relevant system competence, preferably D365
• Strong excel proficiency
• Must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian
