As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Fab Engineer Piping Test at Stord .

This position follows a 14/21 rotation.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Define and prepare the scope for testing activities

• Create test isometrics and work orders

• Follow up on procedures, routines, and quality of deliveries

• Report status and contribute to improvements

• Provide input to subcontracting scope and identify issues in plans or procedures

• Use lessons learned from previous projects to improve future work

We think you should have

• Good IT skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

• Solid experience with hydro testing of pipework

• Familiarity with tools like MIPS, AutoCAD, E3D, PDMS, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office

• Technical college or engineering background with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience

• Fluency in Norwegian and English
