Marine Technology Engineer

Petrolink is looking for an experienced Marine Technology Engineer to join a team in Exploration & Production. You will have the opportunity to be a part of Marine Technology and within offshore maritime and mooring systems.

Contract location: Stjørdal, Bergen, Stavanger, Harstad.

Tasks

Typical work tasks will be

• Ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements  

• Technical Integrity follow-up

• Deliver integrity status and propose corrective mitigating measures in relevant systems.  

• Technical condition safety verifications of maritime systems

• Establish and continuously improve maintenance programs 

• Update system and operation documentation

• Technical support projects

• Risk Assessments

• Follow up offshore installation and travel offshore if needed

Qualifications

We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher preferably within offshore/platform/marine technology

• Experience within offshore maritime- and mooring systems

• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, and national and international standards for marine systems

• Familiar with relevant rules and requirements, i.e. NORSOK

• Fluent in Norwegian and English

• Good knowledge of tools and methods for analytical work within marine systems
