Position overviewAs a Senior Cybernetics Engineer at VOCA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of state-of-the-art cybernetic systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, integration, and optimization of intelligent systems that exhibit adaptive behavior in response to dynamic environments.
Key responsibilitiesSystem design and architecture: Lead the conceptualization and design of cybernetic systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and technological requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybernetic components seamlessly into larger systems across both hardware and software.
Algorithm development: Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced algorithms for sensor fusion, feedback control, and adaptive learning, optimizing them to meet real-time processing constraints.
Machine learning integration: Drive the integration of machine learning models to enhance decision-making capabilities, working closely with data scientists to leverage diverse datasets for training, validation, and continuous improvement.
Hardware and software integration: Oversee the integration of cybernetic components with hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability, and collaborate with hardware engineers on connectivity and compatibility.
Testing and validation: Develop comprehensive testing protocols to validate functionality, reliability, and performance, conducting thorough testing with systematic troubleshooting and debugging.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation including design specifications, test plans, and operational manuals that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Research and development: Stay at the forefront of advancements in cybernetics, AI, and related fields, and contribute to research projects that expand the capabilities and applications of cybernetic technology.
Qualifications and skillsMaster's or Ph.D. in Cybernetics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing cybernetic systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++.
Experience with real-time processing and control systems.
In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their practical application is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
