Do you want to be our next MC (Completion) Lead Engineer?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several MC Leads for an exciting project at Stord.

Join a key project delivery team in a Mechanical Completion leadership role, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution of MC activities across all project phases. The project follows a 14/21 rotation.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Leading the planning, preparation and execution of Mechanical Completion (MC) activities throughout the project lifecycle

• Establishing MC strategies, philosophies, procedures and work instructions to support successful project delivery

• Ensuring strong HSSE performance by integrating safety, environmental and quality requirements into all MC activities

• Managing progress, budget, resources and quality for MC activities across suppliers, fabrication yards and assembly locations

• Supporting project management with risk management, strategic decisions and continuous improvement initiatives

We think you should have:

• Must have several years experience as Mechanical Completion for Aker Solutions - New Builds.

• Experience leading Mechanical Completion and completion activities in EPC, EPCI or fabrication projects

• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive teams and deliver results

• Must have previous experience with ProCoSys, PIMS, MIPS, Aize and Microsoft 365, as well as PEM methodology

• Structured and systematic approach with strong HSSE awareness

• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or a technical education combined with extensive MC and completion experience
