Job description

Axactor is looking for a Co mpliance officer to join the corporate legal and compliance function at its headquarters in Oslo. Axactor’s global legal and compliance team provides legal advice and supports compliance and risk management across the group. The team consists of about 15 employees globally, of which three are situated in Oslo. The position is situated close to the top management, and reports to the Chief of Staff.

As part of this role, you will have the following main responsibilities:

• General compliance advice including identification and clear communication of compliance risks, development of risk mitigation strategies and training
• Maintain and improve Axactor’s regime for good corporate governance, including risk management, internal controls and follow up of breaches
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and recommend adjustments to secure compliance
• Supporting with sustainability reporting (CSRD)
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the group and external advisors
• Ad-hoc tasks related to wide array of projects, such as due diligence, prevention and detection of financial crime, authority investigations and reporting etc.

Qualifications

• Norwegian master’s degree in law
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• High proficiency in written and spoken Norwegian and English
• High ethical standards and integrity
• Great social and communication skills
• Experience, or interest, in either of the following areas: compliance & risk management, anti-money laundering, transparency, human rights, data protection, AI, and/or CSRD
