Do you want to help shape the future of data platforms and customer journeys at Storebrand? We’re looking for an experienced data engineer to architect and scale data driven customer engagement across Storebrand!

The Enterprise Data Team at Storebrand

We are a data engineering team of four, that focuses on customer data across Storebrand. We work with banking, insurance, asset management and pension data teams, to drive cross-group customer engagement, compliance and marketing solutions. To scale and further personalize customer engagement at Storebrand, we need to increase our level of automation, and shift towards offering configurable services. That way, our domain teams can apply their knowledge deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time. To do this, we need an experienced engineer with platform and architecture skills to lead the way!

What we’re looking for

If you know data, data platforms, and automation, we’d love to talk. We expect human applications, and promise a friendly and human interviewing experience. Some of these things might describe you:

• You have hands on experience with modern data tooling and infrastructure in the cloud

• You have a passion and sense for automation

• You’ve led or contributed to an internal data or application platform

• You’ve designed, built and operated integrations between business and data systems (e.g. API, event, batch and virtualization patterns)

• Your friendliness, technical breadth and business focus build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• You love working with colleagues who have different skills and experiences, bringing data into day to day business

Your Responsibilities

As a technical leader in our team, you’ll own the team’s continuous improvement in how we build and operate business critical workloads. You’ll work on things like:

• Integration architecture between Snowflake and Salesforce

• Data and integration architecture for customer master systems

• Distributed data modelling and integration of customer engagement data

• Planning, prioritization and execution of continuous improvements to the scalability, security and compliance of the enterprise data team’s systems and data processing

• Collaborate with the data platform team on new features for data processing, infrastructure and governance

• Collaborate with tech leads in other data teams on defining and developing best practices and standards
