We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Support Project Leader to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Aero Norway Customer Focus Team and our customers, overseeing all aspects of aircraft engine program assignments. This will involve strategic planning, proactive coordination of actions, and effective resource management to ensure alignment with both customer expectations and company objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:- Oversee the customer focus team, ensuring comprehensive management of each engine project through various stages including pre-induction, induction, inspection, kitting and final assembly and invoicing.
- Lead the customer focus team in managing and owning each engine project from start to finish, including direct handling of all customer interactions, inquiries, and requests.
- Oversee the preparation and management of project-related documentation, such as Weekly Reports and Gate Closeout sheets, to ensure transparency and project compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, materials & purchasing, production, and finance teams to ensure project milestones are met. This includes managing the engine induction and tracking critical path items to meet kit dates and shipping schedules.
- Ensure profitability of each project by managing costs, overseeing project execution, and ensuring alignment with Aero Norway's financial goals.
- After completing an engine project, ensure a lessons learned meeting is carried out and actions identified are implemented to improve future project outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Aero Norway and assigned customers. Ensure responsive and effective communication, fostering trust and long-term
- partnerships by delivering solutions that align with both customer objectives and company goals.
- Establish and lead regular status meetings or teleconferences to keep customers updated on the engine shop visit process and discuss upcoming engine inductions for existing customers.
- Focus on improving relationships with the assigned customers to ensure a proactive approach to customer retention and business growth.
- Proven experience in project leadership within a customer support environment.
- Knowledge of marketing, sales principles, and the specific requirements of the aerospace industry
- Exceptional communication skills -- both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A track record demonstrating problem-solving capabilities in dynamic situations
