- Responsible for project overall planning
- Develop, maintain and communicate the project schedules.
- Monitor, analyse, and report schedule progress, including identification and reporting of deviations, trends, and recovery actions.
- Coordinate, integrate, and optimize contractors' schedules within the overall project schedule.
- Review, audit, and quality assure contractors' planning documentation, including schedules, milestones, progress curves, resource histograms, and related planning deliverables.
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule assessments and schedule risk analysis when needed.
- Provide planning input to the project team (ex. lookahead schedules, planning info in monthly reports).
- Responsible for planning and coordination of construction and commissioning activities at Site:
- Establish systems and methods for planning and follow-up of construction and commissioning activities.
- Re-view, quality check and follow-up the construction and commissioning schedules from contractors.
- Develop, maintain and optimize the detailed construction and commissioning schedules based on contractors' schedules.
- Schedule and prioritize activities between different contractors in different working zones in different operative periods (ex. 8 weeks, 3 weeks, weekly) based on contractors' maturity of the work to be performed, risks, interfaces and dependencies.
- Monitor and report site progress and productivity, including analysis and reporting of deviations from plan.
- Facilitate and lead planning and coordination meetings at sit.
- Monitor and follow up contractor manpower plans and resource forecasts.
- Support coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment with project milestones and execution priorities
- Proactive and structured approach
- Engineer Bachelor's or higher
- Minimum 5 years' experience with complex industrial investment projects
- Minimum 5 years of project planning and scheduling experience in industrial or construction projects
- Experience with Safran Project or Primavera (knowledge of Microsoft Project is an advantage)
- Experience with Omega365 and SAP is an advantage
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Experience in construction or production planning in civil and building projects
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, production methods and dependencies between disciplines
- Experience in preparing and follow up of phase plans, look ahead schedules and detailed weekly work plans
- Ability to assess production readiness, including work documentation, materials, resources, access, logistics and interfaces
- Experience in coordinating contractors, subcontractors and concurrent activities
- Basic knowledge of Norwegian HSE and construction safety legislation, particularly the Norwegian Construction Client Regulations and the relationship between planning, construction time and safe execution is an advantage
- Understanding of risk assessments, method statements, permits to work and job safety analyses as part of production preparation
