Crunched is building an autonomous AI analyst that works directly inside Excel. Backed by Y Combinator and 55M NOK in seed funding, we are building our core team in Oslo and looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead who can turn a strong product into content and campaigns people notice.

Why we believe Crunched can win

AI for Excel is an extremely competitive market with enormous upside. Anthropic and the other major AI platforms are serious competitors, but our strategy is deliberately different: we build for the top 1--2% of Excel power users and the highly specific workflows they depend on. We do not believe the largest general-purpose players are sufficiently incentivized to go this deep for this demanding segment.

More importantly, the strategy is already working. Whenever Crunched has competed directly against alternatives in customer evaluations, we have won. Customers consistently tell us that the quality of our product is stronger than the competition.

Our lead investor, First Round, heard pitches from 75 AI-for-Excel startups over the past year---and chose to invest in Crunched. We believe our specialization, product quality and early customer results put us in a strong position to capture a meaningful share of the market.

This is not a director role. We need an exceptional all-rounder who has done the work themselves, moves fast and can deliver high-quality output independently from day one.

What you'll do

• Create product videos, ads, LinkedIn content and other high-quality marketing assets

• Own content production from idea and concept to publishing

• Plan and run events that build awareness and customer relationships

• Shape Crunched's positioning, messaging and tone of voice

• Test channels and campaigns quickly, learn from performance and scale what works

• Ideally own or contribute hands-on to performance marketing and paid acquisition

Who you are

• You have 2--5 years of relevant marketing or content experience

• You have a strong portfolio showing work you created yourself

• You combine creative judgment with speed and commercial thinking

• You can work independently and take ownership from day one

• You are comfortable switching between product storytelling, content, campaigns and events

• Experience with performance ads is a strong plus
