A hotel in Finnmark, Norway is looking for an a la Carte Chef

A hotel in the Porsanger Municipality is looking for an a la Carte Chef. The hotel is known for its good hospitality and friendliness, they are doing their best to make everyone feel at home. The Hotel Restaurant uses local ingredients as much as possible, for example, salmon, lamb, beef, and berries. The hotel is located near a national park where you can go hiking in the mountains and have a fantastic view of waterfalls and rapids.

Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparations

Prepare mise en place according to the menu and kitchen requirements

Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality

Work independently while cooperating with the kitchen and hotel team

Maintain good hygiene and food safety standards

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a chef in a professional kitchen

Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Good knowledge of kitchen routines and food preparation

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Good command of English, Scandinavian language is a huge plus!

Positive attitude and willingness to work in a remote mountain environment.

Accommodation: 675.67 NOK/month

Salary: 250 - 270 NOK/h

Average working hours is 162.5 / month

Salary additions

Saturday/Sunday addition 31.52 NOK/Hour

Night time addition 58.04 NOK/Hour

Evening time addition 16.59 NOK/Hour

Overtime addition 50.00 %

Vacation addition 12.00 %

National holiday addition 100 %
