Comfort hotel Xpress Youngstorget has 245 rooms, and we have an occupancy of approx 80% in a full year. You and your team are the glue that keeps the house together. As the Housekeeping & Technical Manager of Comfort Hotel***Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget*** , you're managing a team of ***15***people - a diverse team working seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Your to-do-list as a Comfort Housekeeping & Technical Manager:

• Meeting guests with a friendly, no-nonsense approach, setting the tone for a great stay
• Day-to-day operation of the building and "Keeping house" according to the Comfort Housekeeping Manual
• Making sure we have 100% room capacity every day, all year round - honoring our guaranteed check-in time.
• Keep the hotel clean and tidy, buzzing with energy and positivity, working closely with colleagues to maintain Comfort´s effortless, urban vibe
• Support your team, together with your Assistant Housekeeping Manager, with everything they need to do all of the above - always following the Comfort rules and keeping our guest promise.
• HSE, inventory management, purchase and supplier loyalty, chemical and waste management, budget control and keeping a balanced scoreboard to make sure the department runs profitably and sustainable
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and keep up to date with new standards.
• Monitor and improve energy usage and ensure the hotel always performs according to the relevant environmental policies.
• Manage suppliers and ongoing service agreements.
• Day-to-day maintenance including everything from painting and repairs to care of outdoor areas together with maintenance.
• You understand that the needs of the guest take priority and ensure all the Hotel facilities and related features are always fully functional.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a technical background with experience of operational management of complex buildings or you have a background in a Housekeeping Managerial position, with a strong interest in technical control systems, as an alternative.
• Ideally with a background in leadership.
• A sound financial grasp and understanding of how energy usage affects the hotel's bottom line.
• You have a flexible approach, enjoy solving problems and can be available at short notice.
• As well as being flexible, we are looking for a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, diligence and a hard-working approach.
• You must be organised, methodical, and clear.

As a Manager at Comfort Hotel, you need to be proficient in both English and a Scandinavian language.Additional language skills may be beneficial to your application.
