We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a large-scale, long-term construction project in the Porsgrunn/Skien area. This is a newly established role where you will be responsible for leading health, safety and environment efforts for our operations on the construction site.

You will work closely with project management, logistics, electrical and material teams - coordinating HSE processes to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. The project is scheduled until summer 2026, with the next construction phase already planned, possibly offering long-term career opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop HSE processes for our operations on site.
• Conduct, prepare and maintain RAMS packages (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for all tasks within our scope, mainly logistics.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with Norwegian legislation and standards.
• Deliver regular Toolbox Talks and provide on-site training.
• Collaborate with project management, subcontractors and client representatives on HSE-related matters.
• Act as HSE contact for approximately 50 employees, while also coordinating closely with other contractors on site.

Requirements

• Relevant education and proven experience as HSE/HMS Manager, preferably from large-scale construction, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment and safe work procedures.
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English (oral and written). Norwegian is an advantage.
