On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer for project and modification work within drilling and installation facilities. The role includes both studies, detailed engineering, and follow-up during the execution phase.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contribute to cost estimation and tender/bid processes for installation and project activities
• Perform electrical engineering including technical evaluations and clarifications
• Manage supplier and third-party follow-up throughout the project lifecycle
• Follow up installation and hook-up activities, including offshore surveys and site support
• Ensure on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery, with reporting of progress, cost and deviations to project management

Qualifications: 

• Technical, bachelor's or master's degree within electrical engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years' experience 
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal education 
• Additional electrician certificate is an advantage. 
• Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations. 
• Experience with modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS
• Valid offshore training and medical certificate

• Power distribution systems and load calculations
• Third‑party hook‑up and documentation
• Drilling equipment and systems
• Engineering and design within the above disciplines
