Consultant Radiologist

We are looking for a General Radiologist and a Radiologist specialized in Breast Imaging (Mammography). 

In Haugesund, we have 13 laboratories covering ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, intervention, and general X-ray. The section uses SECTRA RIS/PACS. The section has 16 consultant radiologist positions and 7 positions for doctors in specialist training in radiology (Radiology Residents).

The Radiology Department has overall responsibility and joint operation of senior physician resources for all radiological activities at the hospitals in Helse Fonna: Haugesund, Stord, and Odda. The Radiology Department focuses on efficiency and high quality in healthcare.

Work description

Main tasks will be general radiology within thorax/abdomen/pelvis, and also neuroradiology. Participation in the current on-call duty arrangement, which is currently 11-part.

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization and specialist approval in radiology or proof of experience as resident within the field of radiology.
• You need to learn the Norwegian language both written and oral at a high level (B2)
• Relevant hospital work experience.
