As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Commissioning Engineer SAS in Bergen (Sandsli) .

The position has an immediate start and is expected to be long-term. The work schedule follows a standard five-day workweek.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

• Develop commissioning procedures in the engineering phase

• Participate in commissioning activities on Mongstad site in the commissioning phase

• Cooperate with the discipline engineers, suppliers and clients operation staff

• Secure that the procedures are in accordance with the requirements

We think you should have:

• Good knowledge in instrumentation, safety and automation systems

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Completion/Commissioning, specifically within Instrumentation, Safety, and Automation

• Extensive experience with NORSOK standards and offshore projects

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science. Alternatively, a technical education combined with substantial practical experience in Commissioning and Completion

• Leadership skills, along with good communication & collaboration skills

• Proficiency in ProCoSys, Fusion and MIPS

• Must have fluency in Norwegian, both verbal and written
