As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Hook-up Coordinatorwith experience in onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Updating and maintaining the hook-up register based on input for method, plan and engineering
• Coordinate the hook-up register
• Coordinate, manage and establish the engineering work packages for the offshore hook-up scope.

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Bachelor or Master within energy or renewables. Experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Ability to acquire detailed knowledge of the scope of the project and handle a range of different disciplines or fields within planning
• Good collaborative skills, outgoing and good abilities for working in team
• Proactive and transparent attitude towards team interaction and towards clients
• Focus on honesty, predictability, and transparency in all aspects of the work
• Experience from method and execution systems such as MIPS - Method Integrated Project System or other relevant system.
• Skills in Office 365 package- especially good excel skills
• Knowledge of Navisworks
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
• In general, good knowledge and skills in common IT tools
