Do you want to Develop system designs and manage interfaces for Safety and Automation Systems ?

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major Oil & Gas C-Study project for an FPSO. The scope includes design of new Topside and Hull systems, with strong emphasis on integrated, global design solutions across multiple contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their expertise within early-phase conceptual engineering of SAS and broader automation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop system design and manage interfaces for Safety and Automation System (SAS) activities, as assigned by the Automation Discipline Lead.
• Prepare and specify philosophies for global SAS and automation design across Topside SAS, Hull, Subsea, and other large contractual interfaces.
• Provide input to and review technical studies conducted by vendors.
• Produce and finalize engineering documentation and maintain data registers.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure alignment and quality in deliveries.

Work Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in automation engineering within greenfield projects.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in automation and SAS system design, including SAS/automation network solutions.
• Documented experience with follow-up of large multidiscipline packages.
• Solid knowledge of automation design and network architecture according to relevant standards (e.g., NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Cybernetics, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
