Part-Time Construction Helper/Painter (On-Call)- Hjelpearbeider (Bygg)

Position Overview

We are seeking a physically strong and reliable Construction Helper/Painter for a part-time , on-call position. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the construction industry who are looking for flexible work hours. The position involves a variety of tasks, including demolition, carpentry, painting, and material handling, with a competitive hourly wage of approximately 230 NOK. Job Responsibilities

Training will be provided, but it will be a bonus if you already have experience with some of these tasks:

• Demolish bathrooms and other interior rooms as part of renovation projects.

• Carry out certain carpentry tasks such as building lightweight walls, leveling walls, furring out the walls, installing windows and doors, installing gypsum plates, installing chipboard and floor plates, installing parquet.

• Spackling and painting walls and ceilings,

• Transporting materials to and from job sites.

• Dispose of construction waste.

Requirements

• Physical Strength: Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.

• Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred, but training will be provided.

• Language: Fluent in speaking and understanding English.

• Availability: Flexible availability for on-call work, with weekly schedules determined in advance.
