We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Software Engineering Manager

TGS Prediktor is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Software Engineering Manager to lead one of our core technology teams through an ambitious transformation journey.

Our focus is scalable, cloud-based SaaS products and your leadership will be instrumental in building high-performing, autonomous development teams that deliver real value for industry, society, and the planet.

In this role, you will take an operational responsibility for multi-disciplinary teams of around 10-12 full-stack software engineers. You will coach developers across a spectrum of experience levels and help instill modern engineering practices, such as DevSecOps, continuous delivery, lean product development, as well as facilitate the teams making good and sound architectural decisions. Your deep understanding of distributed and scalable software systems will be vital in supporting robust and maintainable system design.

We are looking for a people-oriented leader with solid experience in software development, preferably with 8+ years of hands-on experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, and/or Python. You combine technical depth with a strong interest in developing people and creating a collaborative and high-performing culture rooted in transparency and learning. Experience with containerization, high-performing and reliable distributed systems, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly relevant, as is familiarity with modern DevOps and CI/CD approaches. The role is located in Oslo or Fredrikstad and reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
