This position has become available due to an internal promotion, offering a unique opportunity to step into a key role within our operations team.

Responsibilities:

As a Ship Operator, you'll ensure the smooth operation of multiple vessels within our fleet:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations with precision and expertise.

• Acting as the primary liaison between the Ship's Master and shoreside operations.

• Engaging closely with the ship chartering department to optimize vessel schedules and streamline cargo movements.

• Passion for the shipping industry and a commercial mindset.

• Proficiency in, and interest for, digital tools and technology.

Qualifications:

• Maritime or shipping-related education.

• Prior experience in shipping operations, preferably with a background as a seafarer or in a related capacity.

• Experience from working at sea on similar chemical tanker vessels as operated by Sea Tank Chartering will be given priority.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
