EIT Field Engineer (rotation daytime)

Rotation: Daytime rotation (2-3)

About the role

We are currently seeking EIT Field Engineers to join a dynamic project team on a rotational basis. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications (EIT) systems in a construction setting.

You will be part of a collaborative EIT Field Engineering group, ensuring quality control and resolving technical issues on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the EIT Field Engineer group.
• Perform 97–100% quality control of work packs received from construction.
• Investigate and resolve technical holds and lift issues.
• Liaise with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical queries.
• Report directly to the Completion Field Engineer Lead.
• Follow up on interdisciplinary documentation as needed.

Qualifications and skills

• Relevant EIT professional experience with supporting documentation.
• Strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret:
• Layout drawings.
• Loop drawings.
• Termination diagrams.
• P&IDs.
• Job cards.
• Familiarity with NORSOK and other Norwegian industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and instrument activities.

Courses and certifications

• Valid FSE course certification.
• NOG 143 or OLF 120 (tubing and fitting): relevant experience may compensate.
• ATEX maintenance, Compex, or similar: relevant experience with ATEX equipment may compensate.
• Fall harness course.

• Proficient with IT tools and systems.
