Start Your Career as a Mould Tech Trainee in Subsea Cable Production

Due to exciting growth plans for our Norway operations, Ashtead Technology are looking for a Trainee for our Mould Shop to join us and bolster our production and growth for the coming years!

As Trainee Mould Shop Technician, you will be working with preparation, soldering, cleaning, labelling and testing of cable assemblies, subsea tails and connectors.

Day to day you'll be involved in:

• Testing and preparation of cable assemblies

• Ensure the mould shop remains a safe and clean working environment

• Ensure that all cable and connector stock is stored correctly and safely

• Complete competency training as outlined in the competency plan

• Adhere to Ashtead Technology’s policies and operational procedures including Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality

Preferred experience within:

• Soldering and cable assembly

• Cable moulding

• Fault finding and problem-solving ability

• Keen to take on additional responsibility and lend a hand when needed
