We believe great technology is built by great people, and that’s where you come in. As our new People Partner, you’ll have a direct impact on the employee experience across Huddly, from Oslo to our teams in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia. Reporting to the VP People & IT, you will take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while playing a key role in strengthening our people strategy, culture, and ways of working.
What you’ll be doing

Be a trusted partner for employees and managers, contributing to a great employee experience

Maintain and update HR documentation, including employment contracts, personnel handbook, policies, and routines, as well as processes for onboarding, offboarding, sick leave, and holidays

Support and follow up on absence and sick leave in line with Norwegian regulations.

Own our HR system (Huma), ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date, and publish relevant HR communication to employees through the platform.

Coordinate payroll in collaboration with finance and external providers.

Manage recruitment processes - from drafting job ads to coordinating interviews, ensuring a consistent and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.

Manage the HR inbox and ensure timely, professional handling of employee inquiries and requests.

Use data and insights (e.g. eNPS, engagement surveys) to evaluate and strengthen organizational health and employee empowerment

Plan and deliver learning and development initiatives

Support HR frameworks such as the annual review process and other cyclical people programs
What we’re looking for

Education within HR, administration, psychology or related fields.

At least 5 years of experience in HR operations.

Experience from international companies is preferred

Solid knowledge of Norwegian labor law and HR best practices

Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English

Structured and detail-oriented, able to keep processes and deadlines on track

Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to spot what needs to be done and take initiative

Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Trustworthy and discreet in handling sensitive information

Approachable, people-focused, and comfortable supporting colleagues across different countries
