Technical Superintendent Trainee

We are expanding our Technical Team in Bergen and are looking for a Technical Superintendent Trainee. As a company we believe in developing our employees and giving opportunities to individuals. The trainee role will be an entry-level role into the technical team where you will be trained into becoming an independent Technical Superintendent with the ability to manage a fleet of your own. The first period you will be following and supporting the Technical Superintendents with the relevant day-to-day activities related to operating a vessel. You will also be introduced to the shipping business in a structured way. Traveling onboard the vessels will be a part of the training, to experience the life onboard and understanding the culture onboard a vessel. The trainee period will also include attendance at shipyards abroad during yard stays for periodic surveys and repairs.

We are looking for graduates with a Master degree from engineering, or other relevant education degree, with an interest in ship management, technical challenges and managing an international crew.

• A believer in teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing
• Experienced and interested in international work and enjoy the opportunity to travel for work
• Fluent in English, both written and verbally
