We at Yara are part of a global network, collaborating to profitably and responsibly solve some of the world's key challenges - resource scarcity, food insecurity and environmental change.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to start and grow a career in global supply chain planning within a truly international organization.

As a Junior Global Planner, you will support planning and optimization activities across Yara's global production network, collaborating with stakeholders from production, procurement, product management, logistics, and commercial teams worldwide.

You will develop expertise in supply-demand balancing, production planning, optimization, and digital planning tools while contributing to real business outcomes in a complex global environment.

With support from experienced planners, you will have the opportunity to learn, take ownership, and build a strong foundation for future career opportunities within Global Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and other areas of Yara's international organization.

Responsibilities
  • Support supply-demand balancing, optimization, and planning activities within IBP for Yara's key global production lines, working closely with markets, production sites, product management, procurement, and planning teams.
  • Contribute in maximising capacity utilization and CB1 (margin) performance by analyzing production plans, product mix, batch sizes, production constraints, and supply-chain trade-offs, identifying optimization opportunities together with Global Planners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and execute laycan planning activities (vessel scheduling) to support efficient production planning, and timely deliveries in alignment with finished goods allocation plans.
  • Apply product allocation principles and provide planning insights to support trade-off decisions between market requirements, profitability objectives, supply and production constraints.
  • Prepare, maintain, and further develop analyses to support short- and medium-term planning, covering supply-demand balances, inventory, capacity utilization, constraints, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Identify and highlight deviations, supply risks, capacity constraints, and potential imbalances, supporting Global Planners in developing and evaluating mitigation scenarios.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalization of IBP planning processes, systems, data quality, and analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with planners and stakeholders globally, taking ownership of assigned planning activities and analyses, sharing knowledge, and contributing to improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience or internship exposure in supply chain, planning, logistics, sourcing, manufacturing, or analytical roles is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to structure data, identify trends and deviations, and translate analysis into actionable planning insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to understand complex supply-chain relationships.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across functions, cultures, and geographies.
  • Ability to communicate findings and complex planning topics clearly and concisely.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other analytical/data-visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP or similar supply-chain planning systems is an advantage.
