Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager for a consulting assignment with our esteemed customer in the aerospace and defense industry. In this pivotal role, you will manage strategic business relationships and oversee procurement processes related to advanced products, including Gripen and T-7A Trainer. The position involves close collaboration with technical and engineering teams and encompasses responsibilities for both new and ongoing projects. Additionally, you may act as a Project Manager for larger purchasing projects and play an active role in enhancing purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with suppliers, ensuring their long-term commitment.
• Lead procurement efforts for new and existing projects in collaboration with technical and engineering teams.
• Drive initiatives to improve purchasing and sourcing processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build and maintain a professional network with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a Project Manager for the sourcing team on large-scale projects, as needed.

  Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Relevant educational background, such as an MBA, M.Sc. in Engineering, or LL.M.
• Proven ability to establish long-term supplier relationships and manage complex projects.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Security Requirements: The position requires adherence to current security protection regulations. For roles with security class placement requirements, specific citizenship may be necessary.
