Are you passionate about maintaining and optimizing advanced automated systems? Join our dedicated hybrid maintenance team at Vanderlande’s state-of-the-art distribution center in Eidsvol l! As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our automated material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated handling systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

• Conduct inspections (visual, fault-finding, and safety) as part of daily, weekly, and monthly routines.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve system faults, reporting issues and maintenance activities that require attention.

• Replace machine spare parts and execute technical cleaning tasks.

• Collaborate with the AS/RS (

  Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems

  ) specialist and service technicians to optimize system performance.

• Support the implementation of maintenance plans and work orders using the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Document all maintenance activities and findings accurately.

Work Schedule:

Shift-based coverage: Monday to Thursday 07:00--23:00, Friday 07:00--21:00 (including breaks).

Qualifications:

• Middle level of technical education (vocational or technical qualifications in electromechanical fields preferred).

• Experience in supporting automated systems with strong electromechanical skills.

• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault-finding and rectification (e.g., inverters, sensors, gearboxes, drives).

• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Skilled in using standard electrical test instruments.

• Flexibility to work in shifts and respond quickly to failures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
