In our Process Automation -- Energy Industries (PAEN) team, you’ll work on real projects that keep offshore and industrial installations running safely and efficiently---while learning from some of the best in the industry.

What you’ll do:

Engineering & Design of advanced electrical drive systems, including

• Modeling and simulating in Matlab Simulink

• Power system analysis

• Programming of control systems

• Participate in site tests and tuning

What you’ll bring:

• MSc in Electric Power Engineering including knowledge of electric motor drives. (Relevant experience may meet the requirements for candidates without the required formal education)


• Proficiency in Norwegian and English (spoken and written), a collaborative mindset, commercial awareness, and eagerness to learn

• New graduates are encouraged to apply for this position

A plus is if you have:

Experience with programming, Matlab Simulink, PowerFactory DigSilent or power system analysis in general

The position will be located in Bergen / Kokstad.

ABB Norway PAEN (Process Automation and Energy Industries) is involved in projects delivering electrical equipment and advanced control systems covering a broad field of applications, such as the oil and gas industry, subsea electrical systems, power from shore to oil installations, offshore wind, hydro power plants, onshore and offshore fish farms, and more.
