Mechanic wanted for the fishing industry in Northern Norway

Are you an experienced mechanic who likes hands-on work? For our client in the fishing industry, we are looking for a skilled and motivated mechanic. 

The workplace is located in the northernmost part of Norway, surrounded by fjords and beautiful coastal nature.

About the position

You will work with a wide range of tasks, including:

• General maintenance
• Welding
• Replacing valves
• Construction work
• Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting

The work is mainly during the day. A rotation schedule can be arranged for the right person.

What we're looking for

• Practical experience is more important than formal education
• Experience with welding and mechanical work
• You can solve problems on your own
• You work in a structured and efficient way, even when it's busy
• You can communicate in Norwegian or English
