As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Certification Manager to join our Certification team in Oslo. This is an excellent opportunity for a certification, compliance, or product professional who is experienced in PPE regulations, standards, and product safety, and who enjoys working closely with product development teams to bring innovative products to market. Whether your background comes from PPE certification, testing laboratories, notified bodies, PPE footwear or apparel, textiles, or another regulated industry, we would like to hear from you.
As Certification Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our PPE products meet applicable regulatory and certification requirements across European and North American markets. Working closely with product development teams, testing laboratories, and notified bodies, you will guide products through the certification process from development to market launch. You will report to the Senior Certification Manager and become part of a highly collaborative environment where compliance, innovation, and product excellence go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities- Manage certification activities for PPE garments and footwear according to market requirements, timelines, and product briefs.
- Ensure all certification milestones and deadlines are successfully achieved throughout the product development process.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Development, Fabric, and Pattern teams.
- Support designers and developers with guidance on PPE standard requirements during product development.
- Work directly with notified bodies, testing laboratories, certification organizations, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor and interpret changes in legislation, standards, and certification requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain certificates, test reports, technical documentation, and certification databases as well as ensure compliance in product marking.
- Provide certification-related information, training, and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare certification cost overviews and support certification planning activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, processes, and working tools within the Certification function.
- Participate in standardization activities and industry forums when relevant.
- Travel as required to support certification, testing, and training activities.
We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You likely bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
- Around five years of relevant experience, although candidates with different levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with PPE certification in NA market or footwear certification is preferred; knowledge in product compliance, testing, or regulated products.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following:

- NFPA standards
- PPE footwear requirements
- ANSI standards
- CSA standards
- ISO standards
- EU PPE Regulation (2016/425)
- Experience collaborating with testing laboratories, notified bodies, certification organizations, or regulatory stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
