In this role, you will be an integral member of the Digital Training Products team, which develops a portfolio of digital training applications for the pre-hospital care sector. The team’s mission is to empower and enhance both basic and advanced life-saving skills training for emergency services, training providers, and related organizations. Our digital portfolio includes cross-platform mobile applications built using .NET MAUI and Unity. In addition, we are actively introducing gamification elements and developing interactive training games to make learning more engaging, enjoyable, and effective for users. In this role, you will focus on building new and exciting features while also supporting and enhancing our growing gamified training experiences.
You will be based in Stavanger, Norway. We work on site with the possibility to occasionally work from home.
Some of what you will be doing-
Develop new features using C# and .NET.

Identify and fix bugs and suggest improvements as applicable.
-
Adopt Laerdal recommended tools and frameworks in addition to industry standards.

Explore and prototype new features, create proofs of concept, and document your work.

Review code and write tests for your code.

Package and distribute your code through Github CI/CD pipelines and Firebase.

Explore and keep up to date with new technologies, such as: .NET9+, .NET MAUI (iOS, Android, Windows),

Unity, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Azure EventHub.
Who we envision would fit this role
You will thrive in this role if you are curious, self-going and interested in taking on new initiatives and constantly learning. We expect that you have:

3+ years of professional experience developing software applications.

Experience with object-oriented languages such as C# and .NET.
-
Experience in Unity development with an understanding of best practices in performance and architecture.

Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
-
You will get us extra excited if you have worked with either of the following cross platform technologies: .NET Maui, Kotlin, Swift, Flutter or React-Native.
