At Six Robotics, we build intelligent software that gives Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) the ability to collaborate, adapt on the fly, and execute missions that were previously impossible. From our base in Oslo, our 40+ experts in defence, software, and AI develop Valkyrie, our flagship autonomy and swarm platform. In close partnership with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), we move fast from concept to live deployment, often in the field alongside end users.

About the role
We are hiring our first Brand & Communications Manager at Six Robotics - the person who will shape and decide how the company presents itself to the world.
This role is about clarity, precision, and strong visual direction. You will craft the stories, tone, and identity that make Six Robotics stand out. From a bold social post to a polished press release, or from an internal launch to an international defence event, you will ensure every detail looks right and feels intentional.
You will be the architect of our narrative, setting the tone for how Six Robotics is seen and understood. Some days you will craft content that inspire investors or future colleagues, other days you will adapt our story for a defence audience half way across the world.
We have some fundamentals in place, but the real work start with you. You will create the building blocks that take our brand to the next level and define how we are seen by customers, partners and future employees.

Develop and execute a brand and communications strategy that stands out and makes people take notice.

Lead and grow our presence on LinkedIn through clear storytelling, strong visuals, and a consistent tone of voice.

Help our CEO become one of those thought leaders people actually want to follow on LinkedIn.

Produce and coordinate content across formats, from short videos and articles to press materials and events.

Own the visual and verbal quality of everything that leaves the building, keeping the brand sharp and credible.
You care about every detail and every word. An uneven margin or inconsistent font feels personal to you, and that obsession is what keeps our brand sharp.
You work quickly, iterate openly and take pride in exceptional quality. You believe that half-finished ideas spark better ones, and you are not afraid to show the rough version. You speak up when something can be sharper, bolder, or smarter, and you have the confidence to call us out when it is not up to your standard.
You might not have led brand or communications in a company like this before, but you are ready to take it on. You understand how to drive the process forward, how to turn ideas into action, and how to keep learning along the way.

To thrive in this role you will bring:-
Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with a portfolio that shows clarity, tone control, and versatility across formats such as social posts, articles, scripts, and press materials.

Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian and English

A strong visual eye, able to direct or critique design, layout, and brand consistency

A proven record of leading brand or communication projects and delivering tangible results

Hands-on experience with tools such as Photoshop, Canva, Figma, or similar to create simple visuals

Have experience in defence, robotics, or technology storytelling.

Understand how to grow a brand presence that is bold, credible, and impossible to scroll past.

Our Recruitment Process
We aim to keep our process short and sweet, but also thorough. As a small team, every hire matters, and we can not afford to get this one wrong.
Here’s what to expect:-
Meet & Greet with someone from the team to learn more about us (45-60 min).

Structured case and personality interview to get to know you even better (90 min).

Final interview and a chance to meet with the management team (45 min).

Reference check followed by an offer if everything goes well.
We will start reviewing profiles once the application period has closed.
Security Clearance Requirement All employees at Six Robotics are required to undergo a security clearance due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces. While prior clearance is not necessary, the clearance process will be initiated as part of onboarding.Om bedriften
