About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical/Heat Trace Engineer to join a large-scale EPC project. This is a key role where you will take part in the design and follow-up of electrical heat tracing (EHT) systems, working closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional development within electrical design in both offshore and onshore settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calculations, selection, and design of heat trace systems
• Interpret P&IDs and ensure heat trace design compliance with project specifications
• Update and maintain the heat trace engineering register
• Coordinate with fabrication teams and other engineering disciplines
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure integration and reliability of EHT systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical College education with a minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and calculation of electrical heat trace systems for offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards (NORSOK, IEC, ATEX, PTIL)
• Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive, structured, and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

Required Certificates

• Valid EX course (basic EX training). If not already completed, the course must be taken shortly after start
• FSE including first aid
