Role overview

We are seeking an experienced HMSS Koordinator/Leder to support project and operational activities at site. The role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and following up HMSS programs and action plans in line with company objectives, contractual standards, and client expectations. You will work closely with the project organization, client, and subcontractors to ensure a strong HMSS culture and continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and follow up HMSS programs and action plans in accordance with company goals, priorities, and client needs.
• Ensure knowledge of and compliance with internal standards, specifications, and applicable laws and regulations across projects and departments.
• Continuously drive improvements in line with project and contract objectives.
• Participate in risk assessments during different project phases.
• Coordinate and report HMSS performance internally and externally towards the client.
• Collaborate closely with clients and subcontractors to ensure HMSS standards and expectations are met.
• Initiate and participate in inspections, audits, meetings, and site activities.
• Support the project organization with training and guidance related to HMSS processes, systems, and tools.
• Follow up on incidents and ensure lessons learned are identified and shared within the organization.
• Flexibility for shift work, including evenings and weekends, may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HMSS, technical safety, or a related field is preferred. Extensive and relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• Relevant experience from petroleum, renewable energy, or construction projects.
• Strong cooperation and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable working attitude.
• EX Awareness certification.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Norwegian.
