Looking for an a la carte Chef at a hotel in Ålesund - long term!

We are looking for an à la carte chef at a good standard hotel located in Ålesund in Western Norway. First contract until the end of December 2026. If both the chef and the hotel are happy with the cooperation, there is an opportunity to continue working directly for the hotel after the initial contract period.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience from an a la carte kitchen

• Knowledge of industry standards and food safety guidelines

• Good communication skills in English

• It is important that you have a good understanding of efficient operations and a good ability to plan and structure your work. Versatility and flexibility are key.

Working period: ASAP - 31.12.2026

Salary: 250 - 270 NOK/h

Average working hours is 162.50 / month

Salary additions

Vacation addition 12.00 %

Overtime addition 50.00 %

Saturday addition 31,52 NOK/Hour

Sunday addition 31,52 NOK/Hour

Night time addition 58,04 NOK/Hour

Evening time addition 16,59 NOK/Hour

National holiday addition 100.00 %

Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
