Outdoor Camp workers - Tromsø Lapland

Do you want to spend your winter in the Arctic, surrounded by reindeer, Northern Lights, and Sami culture? We are looking for Outdoor Camp Workers to join our team at Breivikeidet, just 50 minutes from Tromsø. In this role, you'll be part of the daily life at the camp: welcoming guests, working with the reindeer, cleaning and maintaining the camp and its equipment and facilities, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

From maintaining fires and wood stoves to supporting guides during guest activities. Tasks are varied and you will be working in a rotating system and learn all aspects of the camp operations. We provide training, accommodation at the camp, and the chance to work in an international team where you'll meet people from all over the world. You should be comfortable speaking English, enjoy physical outdoor work and enjoy working with people and animals.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and working with guests outdoors

• Assisting with reindeer activities and feeding

• Preparing food for reindeer and maintaining their welfare

• Cleaning and maintaining camp areas, sanitary facilities and equipment

• Replacing firewood for ovens and campfires

• Supporting guides to ensure the camp runs smoothly

Who you are

• Comfortable communicating in English (other languages are a bonus)

• Responsible, hard-working, and enjoy physical tasks outdoors
