Sensio is a European leader in care technology, on a mission to accelerate the digital transformation of care. We solve today’s and tomorrow’s challenges for the benefit of residents, healthcare professionals, and society as a whole.
We design and deliver sensors, systems, and platforms that radically improve the quality and efficiency of elderly care. Our portfolio includes silent nurse call systems, fall prevention, digital supervision, and mobile security alarms, all enhanced by AI that transforms sensor data into actionable insights and unique decision support for care professionals. The result is better workflows, higher quality, and more time for person-centred healthcare.
With 230 employees and growing, we are already the market leader in Scandinavia and are now expanding into the UK and Germany. By developing both hardware and software in-house, we ensure our innovations are reliable, scalable, and tailored to the real needs of elderly care. Backed by Nordic Capital and Longship, Sensio combines the agility of a scale-up with the strength of a well-funded growth company.

About the role
We are looking for a Privacy Lead to be Sensio’s leading expert in privacy and data protection. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution: you will set direction, drive initiatives, and take ownership of privacy across the company – but without necessarily leading a team. The role reports directly to our CISO and has a significant impact on Sensio’s commercial and product success.
As Privacy Lead, you will advise teams across Sensio on GDPR and privacy matters, provide training, and help strengthen our overall culture around privacy. You will also play a key role in customer dialogues, ensuring that Sensio not only complies with regulations but also builds trust – a critical driver of our growth.
Looking ahead, you will guide us as we enter new markets with different regulatory frameworks and ensure that privacy is embedded by design in our new products and solutions. This is a role for someone who thrives on combining legal expertise with technology and business understanding – and who wants to make a tangible impact in a company that develops products used daily in elderly care across Europe.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain internal privacy policies, routines, and processes.
Provide advice and support on privacy matters across Sensio.
Lead and further develop Sensio’s privacy program.
Contribute to training, awareness, and building a strong privacy culture.
Contribute to our work with ISO 27001based Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Participate in risk assessments, DPIAs, and projects involving personal data.
Ensure Sensio stays updated on relevant legislation and best practices, particularly within the healthcare sector.
Support product development by embedding privacy by design principles.
What we are looking for
Strong expertise in GDPR and privacy regulations.
Several years of experience working with privacy in a tech environment.
An understanding of the intersection of law, technology, and business.
Balance between strategic thinking and a hands-on, operational approach.
Experience working with information security
A clear communicator who can build trust across teams and stakeholders.
Fluency in English. Norwegian is a plus.
In addition, it’s nice if you have
Experience working with different aspects of using AI
Technical understanding of IT systems and how privacy should be integrated into digital solutions.
Education in law, legal informatics, or similar – but your skills and experience matter most.
What we offer
An opportunity to work on products that truly make a difference for people and society.
A leading expert role. You will be Sensio’s top privacy authority, with influence on strategy, product design, and customer success.
Strategic and international exposure. As we expand into new markets such as the UK and Germany, you will play a key role in navigating different regulatory landscapes.
Being part of a collaborative and mission-driven culture.
Flexible working arrangements.
