About the role:We are seeking an analytical and energetic individual to take ownership of our climate accounting within our financial system. In this role, you will ensure that our methodologies and configurations align with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
You will play a key role in analysing emissions data and developing actionable and impactful strategies to reduce GHG emissions in line with our corporate sustainability goals. Special attention will be given to our sites, services, and digital business operations. This includes initiating and following up cross-functional and cross-site initiatives aimed at emission reduction.
As a climate accounting specialist, you will also provide internal training and support on GHG management and reduction efforts, fostering a culture of climate awareness across the organization. Collaboration with local finance managers and other stakeholders will be essential to streamline data capture, validation, and control processes.
In addition to supporting the collection, analysis, and consolidation of climate accounting data, you will contribute to our circularity strategy and drive other cross-functional sustainability projects as needed.

Technical knowledge: Expertise in climate accounting and the GHG Protocol.

Financial reporting: Proficiency in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and pinpoint most impactful emission drivers.

Initiative and drive: ability to initiate and drive impactful emission reduction initiatives.

Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external networks to stay informed about industry developments and best practices as well as providing advice and direction to internal stakeholders.

Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results.

Formal education. Bachelor or Masters degree within finance and/or climate accounting.

Languages: Fluency in English
