Drive operations -- Power the green transition

YES-EU AS is looking for an Interim Service, Maintenance & Contract Director (SMC) to take operational leadership responsibility across our Norwegian operations.
As part of the management team, you will work closely with the CEO and key managers to ensure efficient service and maintenance operations for over 1,000 buses nationwide.

Location: Oslo / National travel in Norway

Duration: 6-9 months

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all service and maintenance contracts - internal and 3rd party.
• Establish a new workshop in Stavanger.
• Manage customer and 3rd party agreements and ensure KPI follow-up.
• Drive operational efficiency, quality, and profitability across workshops and warehouses.
• Support the CEO in strategy execution and key business initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth of Battery Services and energy solutions.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who combines strategic drive with operational excellence. You know how to create results through people, structure, and clear priorities.

You likely have:

• Proven experience from managing service operations or workshops for buses or heavy vehicles.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Solid operational management background, preferably from related industries.
• Strong financial insight and leadership capabilities.
• The ability to build trust, develop teams and create lasting results.
