THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Head Chef to join our amazing team at Oche Oslo.

As Head Chef, you will work with the management team to drive sales through exceptional quality and consistency in food service delivery. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will manage all costs associated with the kitchen environment, including labor, food, and stock. You will empower and motivate your team while nurturing the company's culture and values.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate about the food they create. You will be proactive in your approach and always looking for ways to improve. You should be positive, inclusive, and used to working in a high-tempo environment. You should be self-motivated, efficient, dedicated in your approach, a great communicator, and able to work independently and as part of a small team.

ABOUT YOU

Minimum qualifications for this role include an excellent understanding of health and safety and HACCAP, full knowledge of food controls and stock management, a good understanding of labor control, and excellent knowledge of local suppliers and contracts.

You may be an experienced Sous Chef ready to take the next step and make your mark on the world as a Head Chef or perhaps you're an experienced Head Chef who would love to be part of our amazing team at Oche Oslo.
