Pre-Production Project Manager -- Powering the AI Revolution Across Europe

NordicEPOD is growing rapidly, driven by strong demand from data center clients across Europe. To support this growth, we’re seeking a Project Manager Pre-Production to ensure that each large-scale project is fully prepared for efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

You will lead the transition from contract signature to production start, defining project scope, developing detailed designs with customers, and building the frameworks that secure predictable, on-time deliveries. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams, you’ll ensure every project enters production with clarity, precision, and momentum.

Managing projects worth hundreds of millions of NOK, you’ll carry full responsibility for delivery on time, cost, and quality. This is a strategically important role that directly impacts NordicEPOD’s growth, profitability, and market position. Your ability to bring structure and smart solutions to complex projects will be a key competitive advantage for us.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-production phase from contract signature to production start

• Develop detailed plans from order to fully operational EPOD, including master plans for delivery and site commissioning

• Coordinate technical design and clarifications with customers

• Ensure complete documentation and compliance with relevant standards

• Follow up on long-lead equipment orders and supplier deliveries

• Prepare the production phase with accurate plans and documentation

• Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, automation, logistics, and QEHS teams

• Serve as the customer’s primary contact during the pre-production phase

Qualifications

• Higher education in electrical engineering, energy, or automation -- ideally a master’s degree

• 5+ years’ of experience in project management within industrial delivery -- ideally from energy, construction, oil & gas, or data center projects

• Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage systems and technical documentation

• Experience with procurement and supplier follow-up is an advantage

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (Norwegian is an advantage)
