Legal Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Advisor to join our Compliance, Security and Safety department. The Legal Advisor will play a key role in ensuring that Andøya Spaceport operates within applicable laws, regulations, and contractual frameworks.

The position involves providing legal guidance, drafting and reviewing agreements, and supporting compliance efforts across the organization.

European Union Citizenship / European Economic Area Citizenship.

The candidate must be eligible to obtain a Norwegian security clearance at the level Hemmelig/Nato Secret.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents     
• Provide legal advice on compliance, regulatory, and contractual matters          
• Support internal departments with legal assessments related to operations, procurement, and projects etc.          
• Monitor relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring the organization’s practices remain compliant 
• Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and internal controls           
• Support the Compliance, Security & Safety team in risk management and corporate governance matters 
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities when required

Qualifications

• Master of Laws (LL.M. or equivalent legal degree)
• Experience: 2-3 + years of experience within legal work
• Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication in both Norwegian and English
