As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several: Engineer - MC - EIT/SAS at Stord .
This position follows a 14/21 rotation.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Plan, prepare, organize, and execute Mechanical Completion (MC) activities within your assigned project area

• Ensure all MC work is performed according to project procedures, plans, and quality standards

• Take shared responsibility for HSE - ensuring all health, safety, and environmental aspects are properly assessed, planned, implemented, and followed up

• Provide input to project budgets and cost estimates related to MC activities

• Contribute to establishing and maintaining governing documents, procedures, and work instructions for MC

• Lead and execute MC activities efficiently, ensuring safe and high-quality delivery

We think you should have:

• Good understanding of work processes within your discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience from EPC projects within Topside, Facilities, or Renewables segments

• Valid FSE and First Aid certification, and DSB approval

• Experience using MIPS, PIMS/ProCoSys, Autodesk Simulate, and MS Office 365

• Preferably experience from Aker Solutions projects or systems

• Flexible, proactive, and a strong team player with good communication skills

• Technical or bachelor’s degree -- relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
