The Business Manager Components has full profit and loss responsibility for all Heli-One component workshops and is accountable for delivering safe, compliant, efficient, and commercially sustainable workshop operations. The role is responsible for ensuring sufficient planning, production capacity, regulatory compliance, and operational performance across all shops, while driving growth, change, and continuous improvement.
The Business Manager Components will lead complex production environments across multiple component workshops, ensure readiness for new product lines and workshop capabilities, and work closely with customers, internal support functions, compliance, planning, engineering, and production teams to secure reliable delivery and future business growth.
The Business Manager Components reports directly to the General Manager and holds the nominated Accountable Manager responsibility for Part-145 activities within the component workshop scope, as applicable.
Responsibilities-
Maintain a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment across all component workshops.

Hold full profit and loss responsibility for all Heli-One component workshops, including revenue, cost, margin, productivity, and financial performance.

Act as Accountable Manager for relevant Part-145 component workshop activities, ensuring compliance with EASA, CAA, Norwegian regulatory, customer, and company requirements.

Ensure sufficient planning, production control, capacity management, and resource allocation across all shops to meet customer commitments and operational targets.

Lead complex component production environments, balancing quality, compliance, turnaround time, productivity, and cost performance.

Drive business growth by developing existing capabilities, supporting customer requirements, and preparing the organization for new product lines, new workshop scopes, and future market opportunities.

Lead improvement and change initiatives to strengthen efficiency, delivery performance, quality, cost control, and scalability across the workshop organization.

Develop and monitor workshop budgets, forecasts, KPIs, productivity measures, financial performance, and corrective actions.

Ensure effective collaboration with planning, logistics, engineering, technical records, compliance, quality, sales, and customer support functions.

Build and develop leadership capability, accountability, and performance culture within the component workshop organization.

Identify operational risks, capacity constraints, compliance exposures, and improvement opportunities, and ensure timely mitigation.

Perform other duties as required.

10+ years of experience within aviation maintenance, MRO, component workshops, production management, engineering, or related operational environments.

Proven leadership experience managing complex production operations and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong understanding of Part-145 maintenance environments, compliance requirements, quality systems, and accountable manager responsibilities.

Demonstrated business ownership mindset with experience in profit and loss responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance management.

Experience driving operational improvement, organizational change, and capability development in a regulated production environment.

Strong planning, production control, capacity management, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Commercially focused, structured, analytical, and able to balance compliance, customer requirements, delivery performance, and financial outcomes.

Experience using AMOS or equivalent MRO systems is desirable.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Professional proficiency in Norwegian is desirable.
